There are numerous volunteer opportunities at Child Health Services. We can match you up with a project that fits your schedule, whether it is short-term or long term, weekly or even just a few hours per month.

Community Resource Project
– Connect families with community resources, such as food, material goods, baby equipment, and fuel assistance.  Assist with such applications as Healthy Kids insurance, NH Health Access Network, and Hospital Charitable Care.

Family Literacy Project
– On Tuesday evenings, help children, adolescents and adults with homework, SAT preparation, reading skills, English-speaking skills, job applications and resumes, and other components of family literacy.

Childcare Volunteers
for children on site while their parents are meeting with their care team.

Drivers
– Transport families to local and long-distance medical appointments as well as children to enrichment programs.

Food Pantry and Nutrition Kitchen
– Making sure the shelves are stocked for emergency food supplies, cooking classes, and nutrition counseling sessions.

Tutors
– Work one-to-one with children of all ages to improve their school performance

If you don’t have the time to come in and volunteer, consider coordinating a drive at your church, school, or workplace!!
