Family support workers are responsible for assessing the social strengths and needs of clients and developing plans with families.

They are a part of the clinic team and assist with follow-up on the recommendations of Medical and Nutrition services. A family support worker will help find affordable housing, transportation and childcare services - issues that face many CHS clients. In addition, Social Services offers a car seat program, bicycle safety clinics, and helps clients access enrichment activities such as summer camp and after school programs.
